	The front view from our front yard. We're slowly adding all the flowers and trees trying to make most of the yard back into the natural setting of the woods. The flower beds and gardens are close to the house. The yard is a little over a half acre and contained only a handful of small trees and shrubs when we moved in in July of 2001.
	A view from the front right. The whole yard drops in elevation from the front to the back as you can see from our walk out basement in the image below. We have a 360 degree mountain view in the winter months!
	A view of the back deck that we built ourselves in May of 2003. We built the top porch in October of 2004. We eat most of our meals outside whenever possible. The house is on the side of a mountain @ two miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

	We enjoy our daily walks around our yard on the paths which we share with the rabbits, lizards, turtles and snakes. The Robins also seem to prefer to walk down the path versus flying!
