Wes starts the "Dirty Santa" party with our neighbors in our basement. What fun stealing each other's gifts! |
Wes, his Nana (Mary), his mom (Jean), and Rachelle pose on Christmas Day overlooking Townsend. |

News: * We would like to thank each and all of you for blessing us with a wonderful 2006. We wish you a blessed 2007 filled with happy memories and plenty of good hardy belly-laughs! * Several of our shows will be ending this month and as paintings are returned to us we'll be updating the website with those that have been sold. |
||
|
Interesting Updates: * On the easels: Wes is currently working on a pheasant commission while Rachelle is painting on a dove for our upcoming "Masterworks in Miniature" show at Gallery One. |
||
We spent several hours one afternoon working Rachelle's "1st Date" puzzle and had a great time. Rachelle was wishing she hadn't painted all the details in the original! You can purchase the puzzle from TDC games by clicking here: "1st Date Puzzle" ($16.95 plus shipping) |

Our Adventures:
* Recent memory makers: •Parties with neighbors and friends including us hosting 29 of our neighbors for the annual Christmas Party here in our home. •A trip to Dollywood to watch the Holiday and Christmas shows. •The warmer weather has afforded us some delightful walks around Townsend. •Wes's parents and Grandmother joined us for Christmas and New Years spending the week with us. Spikey even joined us for his first trip inside the National Park where he beeped and sang to the deer and horses in Cades Cove. |
||
Spike tries his best to eat a whole plate of whole wheat pecan pancakes. |
After hearing so many holiday songs about "basting the Christmas bird" Spikey figured he should see what it was all about and now feels he should be allowed to daily play in the toaster. As you can see from our vegetarian cookbook - he's safe in our house. |

Critter Encounters:
* Yard Bird List: 93. * We've been enjoying the company of a Northern Mockingbird in our yard this past month. A few days we've even had two of them which are not common in our yard on the side of the mountain. They've been eating...but mostly defending, the pyracantha berries! The White-throated sparrows and Slate Colored Juncos are always exploring our brush pile. |
