Our Recent Memory Makers:
• Obviously our fantastic show in Easton and the great time we had with everyone. Our stay at the Ruffled Duck Inn in Oxford with hosts Joyce and Dennis is always such a treat and we feel so pampered! Fellow artist, Karryl and her husband, Vic, stayed with us again this year. Other highlights in Easton were the lunch with Linda Besse, Grant Hacking, Matthew Hillier, Julia Rogers and Jeremy Pearse. We also had a delectable dinner at Masons with Bob & Teri Beard and Mark & Alice Eberhard and another very funny meal with Mark & Linda Kelso and Vicki Wilson-Schultz. •In between the Waterfowl and Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival fellow artist Kelly Dodge and her husband, Brad, dropped by to visit with us in Townsend before they headed down to Thomasville. This year the show arranged for us to stay in a gorgeous southern mansion where we again felt like royalty. Our new-found friend, Sylvia Fellows of California, stayed in the home with us. She is a silhouette and papercut artist that is absolutely phenomenal to watch in action! How neat to get a chance to see an integral part of miniature history still being practiced today. Sylvia joined us and Luke & Coleen Buck, Donny & Vicky Ferguson and Brad and Kelly Dodge for a bunch of laughs at Subway and then a fun day hiking in the Birdsong Nature Center. We also had a grand dinner with most of the same gang at La FaGoto Mexican restaurant the same weekend. PWAF spoils us artists with their southern hospitality and provides meals for us during the show hours. •After the show in Thomasville we drove down to north Florida to spend a couple days with Rachelle's parents and sister, Hayley. Rachelle's Aunt Nancy and several of the cousins also joined in on the laughs around the dinner table! We spent one day at Suwannee State Park again hiking the trails and photgraphing the vistas and critters. •Thanksgiving we joined about a dozen friends for a fine buffet at Coopers in Maryville, TN and then spent the rest of the day snacking and enjoying photos from our shows and two dear friends recent 50th wedding anniversary party. Yes, we're still having our neighborhood Canasta parties too on a regular basis! |

Sculptor Ron Lowry succumbs to the laughter and missed Rachelle tagging him with bunny ears during the PWAF artist appreciation party. |

Critter Encounters:
* Yard Bird List: 95. We'll be working in our backyard this month rebuilding the flower boxes and garden beds. We're both looking forward to putting our hands back on some tools bigger than a paintbrush! |

A sketch by Lyn St. Clair that she drew of us in Thomasville after hearing comments from patrons about how we must create our miniatures in EZ Bake Ovens! ~ Thanks again Lyn! |
