News: * We still seem to be having some email problems - on our end or the other. If you have sent us a note and not heard back from us please let us know! It seems that 99.9% of our email is working great so it's hard to catch the one that doesn't. Please don't hesitate to call us if you're in doubt. * Our awards page and resumes were recently updated. We should be posting new shows to the schedule over the next two months. |

Wes turned the big 40 this past month and celebrated with two parties involving neighbors and friends. |
Wes received several paint kits, paint by number books and other art supplies so he'll be able to continue in the art business for another year. |
Interesting Updates: * Wes was asked to demonstrate our miniature painting techniques at the 5th Annual Susan K. Black Foundation's Art Conference and Workshop to be held this June in Dubois, WY. There are still a few spaces available for new artists to participate. * On the easels: Rachelle is currently working on a camel painting for SEWE and Wes is working on a coyote to submit to other shows. We'll both be concentrating on show submissions over the next two months. |

A shot of Spike playing under a chair on his road to recovery. |
Wes with a gift of seed and a "squirrel proof" feeder from the next door neighbors, David and Amy. No doubt they've tired of the crazy man living next door that keeps chasing the squirrels off his deck! I think Wes, the squirrels, the birds and even Mr. Raccoon are about to come to an understanding. |

Our Adventures: * We bought new bikes to replace the ones we've basically wore out over the last 12 years. Hiking and biking are two of our favorite activities and we're fortunate to be able to walk or bike to our restaurants, bank, post office and stores. We've been known to go two weeks without pulling our van from the garage. * Spike is back to normal after a much longer than expected recovery. Due to the slow healing we had to cancel our visit to the Florida miniature exhibition - what a bummer! Thanks to everyone who sent notes or called to inquire about Spike and to say they missed us. * We'll be heading to Charleston, SC this month to participate in the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition again. This will be our sixth year at SEWE. NatureWorks in Tulsa, OK will follow at the beginning of March and we hope to see many of you at one or the other. We'll have over 30 new paintings at each show! * Several "memories" have been posted below. See our January 2005 newsletter for two other images. |
