News Highlights: * We'll be featured in the MAR/ APRIL issue of Wildlife Art Magazine. Wes has been adding additional published works to that section of our website. * Shows: New shows have again been added and we've recently accepted the invitation to be the Featured Artists at the Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival in Thomasville, GA this coming November. |

Jane Mihalik, Rachelle and Roz Pierson pose during the MASF artist's reception. A rare chance to have three MASF Best of Show winners in one photograph! |
Wes with Kay and Mike Petryzsak candidly discussing the topic of miniature art over dinner. Partially pictured is Roz Pierson (that's her fist under Wes's chin - he should have never said the American artists were better than the English!) Just kidding Roz - honest! |

Interesting Updates: * We're doing better at getting the hang of the laptop and now new printer since the old one insisted on acting up. * We'll be doing a lot of new work this month for the shows in both Charleston and Tulsa. We're looking forward to seeing so many of you again. * On the easels: Rachelle is working on a tractor while Wes is doing a tugboat. |

Rachelle and her family enjoyed a jam session during our stay with them last month. Also pictured with Rachelle is Diane Hoglo. |
Rachelle and her dad, Larry, opt to taste a wild orange with obvious unpleasant results. Guess who swallowed? |

Our Recent Memory Makers:
• Our trip down to FL was warm and delightful. We so enjoyed the MASF exhibition and spending the extra time with our family and friends. •We're so sad to announce the passing of two members of our family. Rachelle's Aunt Amy, featured in "1st Date" was always a joy to spend time with and she relished hearing about our adventures in the art world. Our home is especially empty after the loss of our dear sweet Spikey. For 17 years he was our ever-present companion 24/7 with most of his waking hours being spent on Rachelle's shoulder. We hope to add some new winged members to our family later this spring. |

Our baby beside his last favorite toy - a gold chain that he would pull and play with constantly. |
Rachelle and Spike painting. He was actually quite the expert on miniature painting techniques having observed us in action up close for years. He often grabbed the brush to attempt his own corrections! |

Critter Encounters:
* Yard Bird List: 95. We actually had a Great Blue Heron land in our yard recently. Unfortunately for our neighbor's and their goldfish he also visited their yard! |
