Another great time with friends
With our friends at the NatureWorks Art Show in Tulsa, OK. We invited our peers to join us for dinner at a Mexican place within walking distance to the show. Boy did Wes and the hostess have a time trying to seat the 40 that showed up! At our table, which had the most laughs: (L to R)Daniel Labouri, Gary Johnson, Wes, Bruce Miller, Rachelle, Sandy Pauley, Pat Pauley and Susan Labouri.
All dressed up and ready for another great show!

News Highlights:
* We're continuing to be juried into more shows and are updating the schedule accordingly. The Paws and Reflect Tour has also been expanded and extended with new venues.
* On a very sad note we lost two of our best buddies this month as fellow artists Larry Chandler and Richard Sloan passed away leaving a whole in our hearts and that of the art world. We'll treasure all the memories of the laughs, meals together and sage advice from these two wonderful peers and mentors.
Ladies, smiles and chocolate...they do go together so well.
Rachelle with dear friends, Pat and Sandy Pauley. Pat was our artist "neighbor" at the booth next to us in Tulsa. We've been friends for a couple of years but there's nothing like the slow times at shows to get to know folks!
This is good food!
Rachelle and Sandy are all smiles during the Mexican fiesta.

Interesting Updates:
* On the easels: Wes is currently working on a commission while Rachelle is wrapping up the finishing touches on a pigeon painting. Rachelle is also working on a commission at the same time. Well, not exactly at the same time although if she painted with both hands we might be able to increase our inventory output!
Our Recent Memory Makers:
•NatureWorks 2007 - Another great show and fun time with our peers, friends and collectors! The new hotel venue was gorgeous and so much better than the previous years. It was sad to lose our dear friend Larry so shortly after this show where we had been together. Rachelle also returned from Tulsa sick after hugging one too many people. She's finally getting back to her perky self!
•Spring is in full bloom in East Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains. We've been working in our yard and garden and enjoying the daily bike rides. Lettuce, spinach and onions are all growing in the garden alongside our herbs. We're also already eating fresh asparagus.
Looks like they've both been having a great time.
Wes and Gary Johnson during the Mexican get-together. Gary had travelled to the show along with our other dear friend, Lee Kromshroeder, so he was delighting us all with funny tales of the adventure.
Back off stranger this is my house!
Wes goofs off with Spike while trying on a prosthesis for a wig. Our neighbor, Amy, creates many of the wonderful wigs for Walt Disney's ice shows.
Subway tastes best in Cades Cove!
Posing with our friends in Cades Cove in the Smokies. Our first picnic of the season in the Park. L to R: Fred Weiser, Tricia Wilhoit, Steve Newman (hiding), Mary Newman, Barb Weiser and Rachelle.
Critter Encounters:
* Yard Bird List: 93.
* The birds are starting to nest and the lizards and snakes are basking on the rocks. The chipmunks are also making good use of the various brushpiles, rockpiles and tunnels we've made them in the yard.
