News Highlights: * Shows: Several shows are currently pending jury results so we'll update the schedule when we get our notices. The show list is kept updated so keep checking back. |

Wes and Rachelle's Dad, Larry, recently built new benches to replace the rotting logs that served as seats around our fire ring. Most of our yard parties center around the fire with tall tales, laughs and yummy smores. |
Our backyard peach tree actually came up from a peach pit that was inside some compost dirt we spread around the redbud tree. What a beautiful surprise that now delights us each spring! |

Interesting Updates: * Wes has still been adding to various sections of our website including new photos so feel free to explore! * On the easels: Rachelle is working on a dung beetle and Wes is currently painting some elephants. We're wrapping up specific show paintings now and hope to start on our list of commissions in April. |

Our Recent Memory Makers:
• We've pretty much been homebodies the last month spending most of our time at the easels. We did break for some fun dinner parties with neighbors and friends. Of course our games of Canasta and Balderdash are still bringing us ample enjoyment and abundant belly laughs - enough to hurt with the Balderdash gang! •We're currently enjoying a visit from Rachelle's family and plan to attend the zoo and hike a trail if the weather cooperates. |
||
We've spent several days this winter and spring cleaning up and building new garden beds for our vegetables and flowers. This photo shows most of the beds in the backyard by our driveway.. |

Critter Encounters:
* Yard Bird List: 95. Spring cleanup chores have been finished in the yard and we've hung new feeders and made more critter hideouts in various places in the backyard. Now we just have to sit back and patiently wait! |
